These hands-on roles include positions such as assemblers, machinists, welders, injection molding operators, and press brake operators. They are responsible for making the very equipment that keeps the lights on, especially for industries needed most during COVID-19.
Safety has always been a core value at S&C. Since the onset of COVID-19, S&C has implemented safety measures according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and local health officials, and we actively continue to monitor the situation.
These measures include professional sanitation and disinfection services, minimizing high-touch surfaces, establishing handwashing and sanitation locations throughout campus, providing additional personal protective equipment (PPE), daily health screenings before anyone can come onsite, rearranging work spaces to provide six-foot clearance between works stations, and adhering to social distancing guidelines.
