Frequently Asked Questions
What are the common positions open right now?
The majority of positions we are looking to fill are in production. These hands-on roles include positions such as assemblers, machinists, welders, injection molding operators, and press brake operators. They are responsible for making the very equipment that keeps the lights on, especially for industries needed most during COVID-19.
Can I work for S&C despite Shelter-in-Place orders?
Yes, S&C is an essential service. We help keep the lights on across the world, including critical infrastructure such as hospitals, medical research centers, and grocery stores. For our team members’ commutes to work, we have provided them with a letter indicating they are an essential worker.
What measures has S&C implemented in response to COVID-19?
Safety has always been a core value at S&C. Since the onset of COVID-19, S&C has implemented safety measures according to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (CDC) and local health officials, and we actively continue to monitor the situation.
These measures include professional sanitation and disinfection services, providing additional personal protective equipment (PPE), daily health screenings before anyone can come onsite, rearranging work spaces to provide six-foot clearance between works stations, and adhering to social distancing guidelines.
