S&C Asia Pacific Donates AU$10,500 to BlazeAid

As part of its commitment to helping local communities, S&C Electric Company recently donated AU$10,500 to BlazeAid, a volunteer-based organization that works with families and individuals in rural Australia affected by natural disasters such as fires and floods.

BlazeAid volunteers work alongside rural families to rebuild fences and other damaged or destroyed structures. But equally as important, BlazeAid volunteers remain in disaster-affected areas for many months helping to lift residents’ spirits and rebuild their communities.

Jason Lander, S&C Vice President, Asia Pacific & EMEA, says this donation will directly support those affected by the devastation of recent bushfires and in the rebuilding of fences. “S&C is committed to helping local communities rebuild after the devastation of natural disasters,” he says. “We’re grateful our contribution will help BlazeAid continue their fantastic efforts and enable this work to grow.”

The impact of natural disasters can last for many months and even years after the events. S&C wants these communities to know they’re not alone, and the company is proud to support those hardest hit through organizations like BlazeAid, Landers says.
