S&C Electric Company CEO Anders Sjoelin Recognized for Commitment to Safety

• Named by National Safety Council (NSC) as one of the 2023 CEOs Who “Get It”
• Recognized for strong safety culture and proactive team approach to safety

CHICAGO, February 13, 2023 – The National Safety Council recently named Anders Sjoelin, president and CEO of S&C Electric Company, as one of the 2023 CEOs Who “Get It.” This annual recognition is presented to safety leaders who go the extra mile to protect employees both on and off the job.

The 2023 CEOs Who “Get It" have built their organizations’ safety strategy using four key components: risk reduction, performance measurement, safety management solutions, and leadership and employee engagement.

Anders Sjoelin is one of the seven CEOs recognized in the February issue of Safety+Health magazine.

“Safety should be a core value at any organization, and it is fundamental at S&C. I am humbled that my team nominated me for this award,” said Sjoelin. “Team members are the heart of S&C, and our passion for safety is rooted in our belief that everyone is essential and what we do matters. Safety is a team sport, and we win when everyone plays as a team.”

2023 marks the 20th year NSC will present this honor. Leaders are nominated by the readers of Safety + Health magazine and their own organizations. The NSC then evaluates the nominations and selects the CEOs to be recognized.
