Congratulations Rappahannock Electric Cooperative – Winner of the 2024 S&C Powered by Diversity Award

DISTRIBUTECH, ORLANDO, FL, February 28, 2024– S&C Electric Company, a leading innovator of resilient grid technology, today announced that Rappahannock Electric Cooperative has won the 2024 S&C Powered by Diversity Award.

The annual award is announced as part of the S&C Powered by Diversity Luncheon at the DISTRIBUTECH International trade event. The award recognizes international utilities that best demonstrate achievement in the areas of diversity, equity, and inclusion within the workplace and celebrates the honored utility’s progress on its DE&I journey.

Rappahannock Electric Cooperative (REC) unveiled a comprehensive diversity, equity, and inclusion plan in its award submission. The strategy brings together an array of pledges, programs, and a corresponding measurement system to nurture a workplace culture that deeply respects, values, and celebrates diversity.
