Coordinaide™ Now Features Sensitive Earth Fault Time-Overcurrent Element
S&C is pleased to announce an upgrade to Coordinaide — The S&C Protection and Coordination Assistant. It’s available now on the S&C website.
The IntelliRupter® PulseCloser application has been expanded to include a sensitive earth fault time-overcurrent protection element. You’ll now be able to plot up to 25 different TCC curves, for a given protection profile and direction, and visually confirm selectivity with both upstream and downstream protective devices. Once you’ve selected the curves, you can save their parameters to a SetPoints Group File, for uploading to the IntelliRupter control. You can also download a SetPoints Group File from a control and open it in Coordinaide.
Launching Coordinaide
A Coordinaide link appears in the “Support” section of the home page. To launch Coordinaide, just click this link. Additional links appear on applicable product pages (e.g., Type XS Fuse Cutouts, Positrol® Fuse Links, etc.). These links are on the left-hand side of the page in the “Helpful Links” section, immediately above the “TCC Curves” link.
After clicking the link, you’ll be directed to Coordinaide’s opening page. It contains a brief description of the protection applications Coordinaide can handle. If you launch the program, you’ll be directed to a second page that contains a short “Conditions of Use” disclaimer, followed by a note detailing the minimum web browser requirements and a link to the “Coordinaide User’s Guide.” Once you’ve read and agreed to the Conditions of Use, one final click launches the program.
Coordinaide is Easy to Use
Coordinaide is a sophisticated application tool that can help you select and apply S&C fuses, Fault Tamer® Fuse Limiters, TripSaver™ Dropout Reclosers, Vista® Underground Distribution Switchgear, and IntelliRupter® PulseClosers. It’s simple to use. Just give it a try.
