New IntelliCAP PLUS® Software Offers Additional Features.

IntelliCAP PLUS® Automatic Capacitor Control software has been updated to include a number of new features. Software Version 1.17 provides:

  • Display, data logging, and alarming of neutral current/voltage based on RMS or fundamental components.
  • Addition of a second retry feature for the Neutral Current/Voltage Alarm. Retry time can be set from 5 minutes up to 48 hours.
  • Calculation of Total Harmonic Distortion using either IEC or IEEE methodology.
  • Increase in the SCADA Override Timeout Threshold from a maximum of 4 hours to a maximum of 24 hours, settable in one-hour increments.
  • Addition of three new DNP points — total harmonic RMS value of Neutral Current/Voltage, Neutral Sensor Data Logging, and Neutral Sensor Alarming.

Availability

The “Standard and VAR DNP” versions are now available for download from the S&C Automation Information Center. “Standard PG&E” and “VAR PG&E” will be available in the third quarter 2005.
