Enhanced Hookstick-Operated Lockout Option for Omni-Rupter^® Switches Now Available.

Provisions for lockout/tagout have always been available as a standard on hookstick-operated Omni-Rupter switches. Now, in response to customer requests, a hookstick-operated lockout/tagout feature is available for upright-mounted hookstick-operated Omni-Rupter switches in the upright mounting configuration.

The hookstick-operated lockout/tagout option features a reflective lockout handle, and a reflective green ‘locked’ indicator, which is visible after the lockout handle has been pulled into the fully locked position. Provisions for a padlock or tag are then accessible.
