New Features for the Micro-AT® Source-Transfer Control.
S&C is pleased to announce the release of a new version of Micro-AT Firmware, 2.5.3, which contains a number of new features that users have requested. These features are now standard on all Micro-AT units.
Below is a summary of some of these features:
- Unbalance Detection: Detection of source-side events is improved by monitoring negative sequence voltage and zero sequence voltage.
- Source Bad Criteria: This menu item allows the user to recognize a source considered bad when a single phase drops below the loss of source threshold setting, or a source considered bad when all three phases drop below the loss of source threshold setting.
- Voltage Sensing Configuration: This menu item allows the user to select whether the primary windings of monitoring sensors are connected Line-to-Line or Line-to-Ground. In both cases, the sensor secondaries must be referenced to local chassis ground.
- Loss of Source Voltage Range: The range is now 10V to 105V.
- Restore Factory Defaults: This function sets all field adjustable items back to the factory-settings.
- Adjustable Window Length Time: The time duration of the “window” in which an automatic return-of-source transfer can occur will now be adjustable from 1 minute to 3 hours.
- Test Key Enable/Disable Event Log Entries: This feature allows the user to distinguish between actual events and events performed during routine testing and commissioning.
