Introducing Line-Side Voltage Sensing for Remote Supervisory PME Pad-Mounted Gear.

Recently Remote Supervisory PME Pad-Mounted Gear was redesigned to accommodate three-phase line-side voltage sensing. This new design makes Line-Side Voltage Sensing possible, a feature that offers many benefits.

When line-side voltage sensing is utilized, voltage measurements between the RS PME Gear and other segments of the line can be monitored. This voltage information can be utilized in automated sectionalizing schemes, such as the IntelliTEAM® Automatic Restoration System. When line-side voltage sensing is used with IntelliTEAM, the “Sectionalization,” “Restoration,” and “Automatic Return-to-Normal” features can be used.
