Attendees of this two-day training course will gain a better knowledge of how to properly and safely work on and around energized electrical equipment, both exposed and non-exposed, by utilizing the NFPA 70-E and OSHA 1910 standards as their guidelines, as well as U.S. consensus standards on safety. Consider that even with today’s advanced technology, in the US alone, on the average, three people are sent to burn centers and one is killed due to electrical injuries per day. That is why it is crucial for employers to properly train their electrical workers to ensure that they have the knowledge and the appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) to do their jobs as safely as possible. Every employer should have this presented yearly to their employees to not only stay current on the rules and regulations but also on the important constant reminder to work safe every day.
