Introduction

S&C Remote Supervisory Vista Underground Distribution Switchgear provides automated switching and fault protection, and can also perform auto-sectionalizing without tripping the main breaker. It incorporates the same outstanding features as Manual Vista UDS and can be specified with a communication and control equipment group, for a completely integrated, self-powered switching and protection package.

Available in ratings through 38 kV, Remote Supervisory Vista UDS features carefully integrated components that ensure compatibility — all factory-assembled and checked-out.

• Your choice of remote terminal unit, including S&C’s Automatic Switch Controls that provide stand-alone automatic sectionalizing. Available with the unique IntelliTEAM II® Automatic Reconfiguration System.
• Your choice of communication device.
• Motor operators allow three-second operation of load-interrupter switch ways and three-pole group-operated fault interrupter ways. They’re easily moved between ways . . . no reconfiguration necessary.
• Standard three-phase current sensing and single-phase line-to ground-voltage sensing for every motor-operated way. Three-phase line-to-ground voltage sensing available as an option.
• Exceptionally rugged construction and the industry’s finest finish provide extraordinary resistance to the elements, keep high-voltage components securely isolated from unauthorized access.
• Available in all mounting styles — pad-mounted, undercover, and vault-mounted.
