Introduction

S&C Automation Product users have three options for communicating with S&C Automation Products: IntelliLINK® Setup Software, IntelliLINK® Remote Setup Software, and the WinMon® Graphical User Interface. All three are Windows®-based programs and feature an easy-to-use interface with a consistent look and feel — plus similar screens, layouts, and procedures.

IntelliLINK is free . . . but offers no remote capability. At the other end of the spectrum, WinMon offers maximum functionality, permitting issuance and response to DNP commands, simultaneous access to multiple devices, and global commands. But WinMon is also significantly more expensive. IntelliLINK Remote offers key elements of WinMon's functionality — but for a lot less money.
