S&C in Chicago employs more than 1,700 people in a wide variety of jobs. The diverse workforce includes more than 200 engineers and technicians, a global sales operation, finance and accounting offices, and more than 1,000 machinist, manufacturing, assembly, and support positions. The 46-acre S&C industrial complex is about one mile from Lake Michigan and eight miles north of Chicago’s downtown. It is among the most modern and attractive industrial facilities in the city.
